I am impassioned by the transformative artistry of makeup. Every stroke is a celebration of individual beauty, a journey where confidence blossoms and self-expression takes center stage. I revel in the joy of enhancing natural allure, creating moments that leave a lasting imprint of radiance and self-love. To me, makeup is more than a skill; it's a medium through which I connect, inspire, and empower. The genuine smiles, the gleam in the eyes—it's the profound impact of makeup that fuels my unwavering love for what I do.
MY Makeup Story
As a little girl, I was completely fascinated by makeup. Pre Internet era my only source of knowledge about this secret power was women's magazines. I would collect clippings of pages and put them carefully in a folder which soon became too chunky to carry around. I still remember certain photos of models like Linda Evangelista with their very thin brows, brown lips and smokey eyes or Dior's blue eyeliner advertised as latest trend. What would I do to find this folder now!
Skip forward to many years later, I worked as a graphic designer, film festival project manager, and translator, I lived in Spain and Italy and eventually - the UK. Here my career in makeup fully started, and I knew straight away this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
I have been trained by the best brands in the makeup industry: MAC, Chanel, Laura Mercier as well the most incredible makeup artists in the world: Scott Barnes (Jennifer Lopez' MUA). Mario Dedivanovic (Kim Kardashian's MUA), and Danessa Myricks.
With now over a decade of experience, I have been incredibly lucky to be a part the most important day in life of hundreds of brides, as well as events, photoshoots, fashion shows etc. Till this day, every project is exciting, and simply I don't think I could ever get bored of my job!
I live in beautiful countryside just outside of York with my husband and two rescue doggies who we love immensely!
